Peter Fife grew up in Northern Indiana, often wandering the wooded areas behind his parent's property. However, his passion for arboriculture truly blossomed after he began working at a tree company, where he started by dragging brush. Over the years, his inquisitive nature led him to explore tree health issues more deeply, resulting in him earning his Indiana Category 3a - Ornamental Pest Management Certification. His commitment to learning further propelled him to achieve the designation of ISA Certified Arborist, and eventually he reached the esteemed status of ISA Board Certified Master Arborist and Tree Risk Assessment Qualification.
Driven by his desire to help and educate others, Peter took on the role of Sales Arborist. In the ensuing years, he sought to broaden his expertise, gaining valuable experience in utility line clearance pruning inspection and municipal arboriculture. He aimed to enhance his communication skills with clients and fellow professionals, which led him to attend ASCA's Consulting Academy, and he later became a member of ASCA.
Peter's integrity, honesty, and helpful nature caught the attention of leading figures in arboriculture, prompting an invitation to apply for a position on the Indiana Arborist Association's Board of Directors. He was elected to the Board and subsequently asked to serve as President, a role he accepted in 2026.
With his extensive 12+ year career filled with varied experiences, Peter remains dedicated to continually expanding his knowledge, particularly in areas like arborist reports and tree preservation, to deepen his understanding of the arboriculture field.
